Live Lightning Blackjack

Lightning multipliers in Evolution have been seen on screens worldwide, and games like Lightning Roulette and Lightning Dice have made a big mark on the industry. Lightning Blackjack is joining the Lightning family.

Blackjack is getting some new features that will make it even better. Many players were eager to see how Evolution would add these great bonuses to the classic blackjack game, and now they don’t have to wait any longer.

Live Lightning Blackjack Gameplay

Lightning Blackjack is based on the same rules as other blackjack games. The goal is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over or getting closer to 21 than the dealer. So, there are three ways to win a result:

You win if your hand is closer to 21 than the dealers.
The dealer ran out of money.
Getting a hand with a 10-point card and an ace that adds up to exactly 21 is called “blackjack.”

In this game, as in all blackjack games, it’s important to know how much each card is worth because it greatly affects how you play and your strategy if you have one. Face cards are worth 10, and numbered cards are worth what they say on the card. Depending on your hand, the ace is worth either 1 or 11.

Live Lightning Blackjack Features

If your hand wins the round, you’ll get a multiplier that could be anywhere from 2x to 25x. Though, you won’t get that multiplier right away if you win.

In Lightning Roulette, lightning multipliers are added before the round starts. In Lightning Blackjack, the lightning multiplier is carried over to the next round.

The lightning multiplier you get will depend on the value of your winning hand. You can choose six groups of multipliers at random:

The value of a 4–17 hand is 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, and 6x.

Hand value of 18: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x.
Hand value of 19: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, 12x.
Hand value of 20: 2x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 10x, 15x.
Hand value of 21: 2x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 12x, 20x.
Blackjack: 2x, 5x, 8x, 12x, 15x, 25x.

The Lightning Fee

Here is where things start to get complicated.

In each round of the game, you have to pay a Lightning Fee equaling 100% of your initial bet. It’s like a side bet that you can either win or lose. You only have to pay one lightning fee per hand, so you don’t have to worry about paying twice if your hand is split.

If you win a round while the lightning multiplier is active, the main bet will be increased up to the value of the Lightning Fee. If you had changed your bet, the dealer would have paid out the rest of it at the normal payout rate.

A Typical Game Round

Most rounds of Lightning Blackjack start with a round of betting, during which you have a certain amount of time to place your bets.

Choose one of the coloured game chips on your screen to place a bet. Each chip has a value, so don’t bet more than you can afford. A Lightning Fee equal to your bet will automatically be taken out of your account.

Once the time for betting is up, the screen will show one of six different multipliers that have been chosen randomly. The dealer will then give you your first two cards, after which you can choose one of the following:

Hit — Draw an additional card.
Stand — Remain with your current hand.
Double Down — Double your bet and receive an additional card.
Split — Split a pair into two separate hands.

If your hand wins, the next round will start with your multiplier working. If this round already had a multiplier effect, your payout will go up.

The Verdict

We can confidently say that Lightning Blackjack will be a big hit. This game has great gameplay made even better by its dynamic mechanics and the lightning multipliers that are Evolution’s trademark. Many players can’t wait to see how this bonus works, and we can’t say we blame them. Evolution has always made great games, and Lightning Blackjack is the best of the best.
